Egyptian First Lady Holds Talks with her Turkish Counterpart
“We held a productive meeting on issues of social solidarity that closely concern humanity as a whole,” Emine Erdogan said on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal.
The two first ladies also toured the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids of Giza, highlighting cultural ties between the two nations.
“I hope that this valuable visit will contribute to the development of relations between our countries in all fields,” she added.
President Erdogan was greeted in Cairo by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and is accompanied by a number of top Turkish officials, including key Cabinet ministers.
During the visit, multiple agreements in various fields were signed by the relevant institutions and ministries of both countries, further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
